SYNAPSE – Journal of Healthcare Innovation & Future Technologies strives to maintain the highest levels of academic excellence using a peer review process that is fair, unbiased, and transparent. All manuscripts submitted to SYNAPSE undergo a rigorous review to guarantee originality, significance, and validity.

In SYNAPSE, double-blind peer review is practiced, whereby the author and reviewer do not know each other's identity during the reviewing process. This helps to ensure that the review process is unbiased and free from prejudice.

Each manuscript goes through an initial screening process to assess its relevance to the scope of the journal as well as compliance with the submission requirements. Afterward, each manuscript that passes the initial screening is allocated to an expert in the field for detailed peer review.

Editorial Decisions

After considering the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor may make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision.
  • Accept with minor revisions.
  • Revise and resubmit after major revisions.
  • Reject the manuscript.

Authors who receive revisions should carefully consider all the comments of the reviewers and submit the revised copy within the designated time. The final decision for publication is determined by the scholarly value of the paper, its originality, relevance, and the comments provided by external reviewers.

Throughout the review process, the journal follows the principles of confidentiality, fairness, editorial independence, openness, and scholarly excellence.
